President Buhari orders CBN, FIRS, NCS And NCC Probe

The Federal Government has ordered for a comprehensive audit of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria Customs Service and National Communications Commission.

 

The audit, which started with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation,is aimed at ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in service delivery by the country’s major revenue generating agencies.

In a broadcast to the nation to mark the 55^th Independence Day anniversary, President Muhammadu Buhari stated that prudence is now germane in managing the nation’s resources.
