Vice President’s Evaluation Team Receives Assurance of Gas Supply to Gbarain NIPP Power Plant
Eighty million cubic feet of gas ready by Shell for daily supply to Gbarain NIPP power plant in Bayelsa State as soon as Rockson Engineering handling construction work delivers.
An evaluation team from the office of the Vice President and National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) received the assurance from the Gas Company at Gbarain. Shell says it has enough gas for the two hundred and fifty two megawatts power plant.
Chairman Rockson Engineering Johnson Ararume while receiving the evaluation team assured Nigerians of commitment to complete work and deliver on grid.
The team has toured eight power plants, major transmission, distribution and gas facilities with most of them completed and inaugurated.
NIPP officials assured the nation of resolve to work with contractors and deliver balance of projects.
