Matthew Ayoola, a resident of Gwagwalada area council in Abuja like many Nigerians, has several complaints about electricity supply and was at the CPC forum to vent them out.
This is a preliminary forum ahead of a closed door investigative panel set to look at the growing complaints of electricity consumers.
Some of the issues include outrageous or estimated billings, none provision of pre-paid metres and purchase of electricity installations by consumers.
The Consumer Protection Council says getting to the root of the problem is a task it must achieve.
Although the discos did not appear to have come with solutions to all of the problems, they assured customers that they will work with the consumer protection council to address the complaints.
