Nigerian Air Force Gaining Grounds Against Insurgents
The renewed collaborative efforts between land and air troops in counter insurgency operations code named Lafiya Dole, is paying off with terrorists loosing grounds in their hide outs. General Tukur Buratai and his counterpart in the Air force, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar are on the frontline with the troops,
seamless communication on line of operational strategy and synergy between the chief of Army Staff, LT. Gen. Tukur Buratai and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar.
The land troops did not only clean terrorist activities and captured some elements but also repelled an ambushed.At the end of the operations the chiefs described the operations as successful.Also, the Nigerian troops gave good account of them selves and looked good enough to continue to fight vigorously against the insurgents.
