TETFUND To Establishes Research and Development In Tertiary Institutions.

With a three billion naira National Research Fund, the Federal Government is working out modalities to institutionalize Research and Development in Nigeria Tertiary Education institutions as a lunch pad for the Country’s technological advancement. TETFUND Organized an interactive session with beneficiaries from the North central on the work ability of the project.

Research and development have been proven to be the secret behind Innovation in any economy.In many developed countries 70% of the research and development fund comes from the Industrial sector, but here in Nigeria the statistic stands at 0.2%. It is for this reason that TETFUND is refocusing its mission at repositioning Tertiary Education Institutions for global competitiveness in the area of research and development.
