Nigerian Custom Service Upgraded And Remodel It’s Health Institute.

The Nigerian Custom service has rehabilitated, remodeled and upgraded its health institute at karu to a 50 bed hospital to offer quality medical services to its staff and members of its immediate community as part of the Nigeria custom’s social responsibility.The upgraded hospital was commissioned by the Governor of Kaduna state, Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai.

At the event, the Kaduna state governor stated that since 2004 he has been associated with the Nigerian Custom Service as a member of former President Obasanjo’s economic team, he said that the team took the risk of recommending to the president to approve that the service withholds its revenue as part of collection so that the welfare of the service’s staff be improved. Also Governor El-Rufai commended the out-going comptroller general for his wonderful public service.
The out-going comptroller Diko Inde Abdullahi at the event said that the hospital will be a reference hospital in the FCT and that facilities provided met world standard. He also thank the country for giving him the opportunity to serve the nation and urged the staff to stay committed and aim for excellence in their service to the nation.
