NESREA To Issue Emission Control Permit To Nigerian Motorists

About 12 Million cars plying Nigerian roads with majority of them emitting hazardous gas capable of causing cancer and other skin diseases. With expiration of over five years period to put their vehicles in order August 2015 is the deadline. Hence issuance of emission permit become eminent.

 National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency, NESREA is to issue Vehicle emissions control permit on all vehicles to check air pollution. Director General of NESREA Lawrence Anukam explained this in a press briefing in Abuja.
