President Goodluck Jonathan Receives Thabo Mbeki

President Goodluck Jonathan this afternoon had a private meeting with formar South African president Thabo Mbeki who came on a private visit Accompanied to the presidential villa by the former head of state Abdulsalami Abubakar, president Thabo Mbeki went into closed door meeting.

Correspondent Segun Lawole reports that the private meeting might not be unconnected with the general elections and a reassurance from president Jonathan of a free, fair and credible election devoid of violence. Although no interviews were granted but for president Jonathan the rescheduled dates remain sacrocanct.
