NOA DO Right Thing Campaign

The Director General of the National Orientation Agency Mike Omeri has urged Nigerians to promote peace in the country. This was at the unveiling of the “Do the Right Thing; Wage Peace 2015” media campaign organized by the agency and its partners in Abuja. Correspondent Kenneth Nanim reports that the apprehension created by the elections and the trauma suffered by Nigerians over insurgency in some parts of the country, necessitated the campaign. Director general NOA, Mike Omeri and other speakers say the message of peace, oneness and harmonious co-existence among Nigerians should be continuously propagated through the norms and core values that unite the nation. The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA also presented an overview of the challenges and progress recorded by the agency on the management of Internally Displaced Person IDPs.
