Port-Harcourt Refinery is Running at a Profit – MD PHRC

The Managing Director, Port-Harcourt Refining Company Limited Dr. Bafred Enjugu says the plant is currently running at a profit despite the on-going phased rehabilitation and turn around maintenance of the refinery.

Dr. Enjugu stated this in an interview pointing out that the increasing demand of the Petroleum Products would turn in more profit in 2015. He said the Federal Government and the Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation approve an 8 months circle of phased rehabilitation last year. The Managing Director said the rehabilitation involving indigenous Engineers is in compliance with the Nigerian Content Act which seeks to promote in Country capacity for indigenous players in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Sector.
