Ecowas Community Court of Justice
As different Countries of the West Africa Sub-sahara Region prepare for the 2015 General Election in their different Countries, the President of the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice has urged Politicians and other Stakeholders to uphold the tenets of free and fair elections.
The President made the call during a meeting with staff of the justice community of the Commission in abuja.
16th of june 2014, was the date the baton of responsibility was given to the seven new judges of the ECOWAS Community court of justice to drive the judicial activities of the commission.
since their assumption of office, this is the first time the judges will be meeting with the members of staff.
this yearly meeting between the staff and the judges is to intimate one another on the records of past year and the challenges for the new year.
promotion of staff, improvement in the working condition of workers as well as proper collaboration between the staff and the judges were some of the issues raised by the staff.
