Education Minister Unveils Strategy Plan For Education Sector

The Ministry of Education is to give priority attention to the security of Nigeria children to save education from further attacks.  Education Minister, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau stated this at the unveiling of a strategy plan to consolidate the transformation in the education sector.

The nine point priority areas of education are relying on the current four years strategy plan for the development of the education sector 2011 to 2015.

Part of the priority areas are monitoring and assessment of on going projects in public tertiary Institutions Nationwide in ensuring harmony in Nigeria Institutions addressing the challenge of quality of teachers in schools and more importantly, tackling security challenges in Schools.
