President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Has Congratulated The Falcons And Urge Them To Go All Out To Bring The Trophy Home

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has congratulated the Super Falcons of Nigeria on their qualification for the finals of the 2014 Africa Women’s Football Championship in windhock, Namibia that will be played today by 7:00pm Local Time and next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
President Jonathan however urges them to go all out to continue been glorious domination of African Women’s football with another victory, having won eight of the ten previous Championships of which they coming home with the trophy six good times.

The President further enjoined the team to put in their best on their contest against Cameroon to make it the third time they will be winning them in the finals.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria has beating the Lionesses of Cameroon on December 20, 2002 in Warri (Nigeria 2 – 0 Cameroon), and in Johannesburg on October 3, 2004 (Nigeria 5 – 0 Cameroon)

The President assures the Falcons and other team member of the full support and best wishes of the Federal Government and all Nigerians.
He joins all Nigerians to pray for the team’s victory and looks forward to receiving them in Abuja with the Championship trophy.
