NEMA Distributes Relief Materials In Maiduguri

Over 12,000 persons have received relief materials from the National Emergency Management Agency in Maiduguri following the recent displacement from Bama, Kawuri and Damboa. Director General of the agency Muhammad Sani Sidi, represented by Dr Zannah Muhammad said the Federal Government is committed to easing the plight of the displaced persons by further assisting them when they return to their various homes.
Receiving the items on behalf of the displaced persons, chairman Borno state committee on displaced persons, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa appreciated the prompt support from Federal Government saying the intervention will go a long way in mitigating the conditions of the people.
