Nigeria-United States Bi-National Commission Opens Third Session In Abuja

The third session of the Regional Security working group of the Nigeria – United States Bi-National Commission has opened in Abuja. The session is discussing Military readiness in terms of troops training, equipment supplies and intelligence sharing.
That is why the both countries are worried and committed to stopping the menace of Boko Haram and other violent extremism in the country.
Other issues the original working group meeting is looking at, includes investigation prosecution of detainees associated with Boko Haram as well as public expectation of the Nigerian Police during the 2015 general elections in emergency states.
