Nigerian Erosion and Watershed Management Project Media Briefing On The Launch

Gully erosion is one of the greatest environmental challenges in south Eastern Nigeria. There have been numerous attempts to curb gully erosion especially through large scale engineering projects to no avail. The Federal Government this time around embarked on an innovative approach to tackle erosion in seven South Eastern States of Nigerian Environment.

The national coordinator Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project made this known at a media briefing on the expected launch of the erosion project.
