Fake NTA Twitter

The management of the Nigerian Television Authority wishes to alert the public that a twitter handle passing off as that of NTA has been posting false information attributed to the special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.  NTA’s Director General Mr. Sola Omole has advised the public to regard the information as coming from an impostor trying to cause confusion. He categorically stated that NTA has nothing to do with the statement in its entirety as the Authority will continue to strive for truth at all times and promote the unity, peace and development of the country. NTA is not unaware that there are about one hundred twitter handles trying to impersonate the authority. For the avoidance of doubt the authentic NTA twitter handle is: @ntanewsnow. Efforts are being made to blacklist the impersonators.
