First Lady’s Peace Concert

 Nigerian Youths from across the country converged on the eagle square Abuja for the national youth peace concert organized by the African First Ladies Peace mission led by Nigerias first lady Dame Patience Jonathan, in collaboration with the office of the special assistant to the  president on youth matters

State house correspondent Makut Simon Macham reports that Nigeria first lady said the concert was to drum the beats of peace and condemn any form of violence in resolving conflicts

Former head of state General Yakubu Gowon addressed the youths on the imperatives of peace

Religious leaders and first ladies of some African countries also addressed the youths
