New Ministers Assigned Portfolio
The newly sworn in ministers have been assigned their portfolios by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Gen. Aliyu Gusau Mohammed RTD Minister OF Defence, Ambassador Aminu Wali Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alh. Abduljelil Adesiyan Minister of Police Affairs, while Boni Haruna is now in charge of youth development.
Ministry of lands, housing and urban development has Mrs. Akon Etim Eyakenyi as the substantive minister, while Mrs Laurentia Laraba Mallam takes charge of the Ministry of Environment.
Dr. Tamuno Danagogo is to replace Bolaji Abdulahi as Minister of Sports, while Dr. Khaliru Alhassan is the Minister of State Health.
The new Minister of State, Agriculture and Rural Development is Hajia Asabe Asmau Ahmed, the Minister of State Defence is now Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro while Mohammed Wakil from Borno is the new Minister of State Power.
