UNIBEN Community Mourns over the Death of Iyayi

The University of Benin Community has been thrown into mourning following the death of former ASUU National President, Dr. Festus Iyayi in a fatal car accident in Lokoja today. Some of his colleagues who could not contain their emotions wept openly over a man they held Congress with just yesterday over the ASUU strike. Dr. Iyayi was among the four man delegation from UNIBEN to the ASUU NEC meeting billed to hold in Kano tomorrow. At his residence in Benin, scores of sympathizers were seen in groups bemoaning the incident.
