PDP Appoints DG PDI

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved the appointment of Dr. Lanre Adebayo as the Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Institute. Dr. Adebayo was the immediate past Executive Director, Political and Civic Education with the National Orientation Agency. The new Director General was appointed based on the recommendation of an expert team constituted by the National Working Committee of the PDP. It would be recalled that the National Chairman of the PDP Alhaji Bamanga Tukur had in a statement made early in his tenure declared his determination to reposition the Peoples Democratic Institute whose appointment would be purely on merit.
