Danbaba Courtcase

The case filed by Governor Danbaba Suntai at the High Court Jalingo against Taraba State House of Assembly and Speaker Haruna Tsokwa has been referred to the Appeal Court Yola for constitutional interpretation of some contentious areas involved. This followed the expiration of the three weeks granted to both parties to settle the matter out of court. At its sitting today presiding judge Justice Alim Andeyatso said the court will continue with the case after the Appeal court has cleared some grey areas.
