Taraba Ag. Gov. Pardons Inmates

Taraba State Government has granted pardon to 10 inmates of Serti and Gembu prisons on the recommendation of the State Advisory Council on the prerogative of mercy as part of activities marking the nation’s 53rd Independence Anniversary. The State Acting Governor Alhaji Garba Umar who announced this in an interview in Abuja also said the State Government is also satisfied with the level of recovery made by the State Governor Danbaba Suntai whom they are all praying for full recovery. He said the withdrawal of the Governor’s Court case against the State Assembly has taken the State closer tot he final resolution of the misunderstanding.
