EFCC Workshop Held in Abuja

There is a general claim that the EFCC has in the last few years kept a low profile or gone to sleep over corruption cases only for it to begin to emerge in the last few days with some high profile corruption investigations. This some people allege is another form of political intimidation but now, Ibrahim Lamorde says that claim cannot be further from the truth.

About 50 editors and reporters covering the EFCC are in Abuja for the one-day workshop. Some of the resource persons say for the media to do a good job of reporting financial crimes, the law must come down heavily on those who undermine the media either financially or ethically.
