Speaker on Ramadan

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, says the Ramadan period should be used to pray for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria. The speaker in a statement says the ideals of service and good governance can only make meaning when those in positions of authority see themselves as leaders with the responsibility to serve the people. He says the month is an opportunity for the muslim faithful to rededicate themselves to what is just and right for the common good of Nigerians.
