NDIC Warns Microfinance Banks Against Fraud

Operators of Micro Finance banking have been warned to desist from manipulation of accounts and related offences for the growth and development of the sector. Managing Director of the Nigerian Deposits Insurance Corporation NDIC Ummaru Ibrahim gave the warning at a one-day workshop organized for selected seven Micro Finance institutions from across the country including the FCT in Abuja by the NDIC.
