VP attends Chief Clarke's Birthday

Vice President Namadi Sambo has described elder statesman Chief Edwin Clark, as a foremost nationalist who believes in the sovereignty, unity and indivisibility of Nigeria. The Vice President said this in a remark at an event to mark the 86th birthday of the elder statesman.

He said Chief Clark`s contributions to the nation from the struggle for independence through its trying times as a nation till date, can not be quantified. Present at the reception were the Minister of Information Labaran Maku his counterpart of the FCT Bala Muhammad, National Chairman of PDP Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, state governors and many other dignitaries.
