Jonathan Addresses the Nation

In a Nationwide address to Nigerians today, President Goodluck Jonathan announced the declaration of a State of Emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States as part of Extra-ordinary measure to restore security in the three states arising from activities of terrorists and insurgents.

President Jonathan said while the Governors and other Political Office Holders continue their constitutional duties, those anti-social groups who have embarked on rebellion against the country will be hunted down.
