House Seeks to Repeal 120 Year Old Act

After one hundred and twenty years of its application in Nigeria without any amendment, the House of Representatives is seeking to repeal one of the colonial laws, the Sales of Grounds Act of 1893 and re-enact a new one. The bill was passed for second reading along with another one seeking to amend the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission Act of 2004.
