First Lady Receives Cherie Blair

Wife of former British Prime Minister Cherie Blair has advocated the legislation of the 35 percent affirmative action in Nigeria so as to solidify the progress made towards achieving gender equality in politics. She said this when she was hosted to lunch by First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
