NAF Commissions Aircraft

The Public Private Partnership Initiative is driving transformation in the Nigerian Air Force with the acquisition and commissioning of a new Platform that will float an airline in Nigeria. Nigeria’s aircraft capability accounts for the success stories of her active participation in the African Union and United Nation’s Peace Keeping operations and the current deployment of the Air Asset of the Nigerian Air Force to African led international support to Mali AFISMA.
It is in the light of the clamour for more assets to convey men and materials for operations that the new Airline under the trade name of United Nigeria – NAF 916 is considered by stakeholders as timely and appropriate. The joint venture between Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services Limited of the Nigerian Air Force and Solicom Engineering Limited is aimed at supporting African military aircraft capacity and extend some to para-military especially the Nigerian Police.
