IGP Orders Massive Hunt for Police Killers

The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Muhammad Abubakar has ordered a massive man hunt for the killers of 12 police officers in Bayelsa State. The 12 Police officers who were on official duty over the weekend were ambushed and killed in Bayelsa state.
The police public relations officer, CSP Frank Mba made this known in Abuja while briefing Journalists on the emergency meeting of the Police highest command. CSP Mba said the best post humous honour that can be given to the 12 police officers is to find their killers within the shortest possible time. He added that though Nigeria is passing through a challenging time with maximum support from the public, the country will overcome. He also said they are closing in on the killers of the former commissioner of police of Kwara state, Chinwike Abadu who was killed in Enugu state.
