Bishop of Canterbury Visits Emir of Kano

The Archbishop of Canterbury Most Rev. Justin Welby has paid a solidarity visit on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, who is presently receiving treatment at a London hospital. The Archbishop expressed thanks to God that the Emir is recuperating well, saying he will continue to stand with Nigeria in prayers for its peace and progress. The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, thanked the Archbishop for the visit and condemned the act describing it as a disgrace to the country.
