FG Wheat Programme Sabotaged In Jigawa As Agro Dealers Allegedly Sell Inputs To Marketers.

The Federal government’s National Agricultural growth scheme and agro pocket designed to boost wheat production in the country may not succeed in Jigawa if the process of input distribution to beneficiaries is not properly checked.

This challenge was found out when Governor Umar Namadi unexpectedly visited the inputs distribution centers in Birnin Kudu and Kiyawa local government areas of the state where farmers were allegedly denied allocation.
