Defence Minister Interacts with Sokoto Govt

Minister of State Defence interacts with Governor Ahmed Aliyu on His mission in Sokoto State.

The State Minister for Defence Muhammad Bello Matawalle has assured people of the Northwest of the Federal Government’s commitment towards ending activities of Bandits and Kidnappers in the Region and solicits the people’s cooperation to the Security Forces.

Muhammad Matawalle who is in Sokoto under a presidential directive gave the indication when he led the Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa and other Military top Brass on a courtesy call to Governor Ahmed Aliyu at the Government House Sokoto.

The move is to forge a common front in tackling escalation of insecurity in the Region.
