Magami And Danjibga Cattle Markets Reopened
Zamfara State Government has approved the immediate reopening of Magami and Danjibga cattle markets in Gusau and Tsafe Local Government Areas respectively.
The development takes effect from Wednesday 3rd July 2024.
This is contained in a statement signed by the State Commissioner of Information and Culture Mannir Mu’azu Haidara.
The reopening of the two major cattle markets according to the statement followed the recent improvement in security situation in the areas.
The statement however directs the leadership of the affected markets to monitor the activities of the cattle marketers to ensure proper conduct of the business activities in the areas.
It would be recalled that Zamfara State Government had in December 2023 shut down the two major cattle markets along with some nine others across the State for security reason.
