House Passes Bills to Extend 2023 budget

The House of Representatives has approved President Tinubu’s request to extend implementation of the Capital aspect of the 2023 Budget to 31st December, 2024.

The House also passed another executive bill to extend the 2023 supplementary budget to 31st December 2023.

Lawmakers expeditiously approved the executive bills to enable the Federal Government complete critical projects, after extensive consideration of the bills at the committee on supply chaired by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.
