Ekiti State Police Command On Security.

Ekiti State Police Command says it has begun massive clampdown on criminals, urging citizens to be law abiding.

A statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer Sunday Abutu says the state Commissioner of Police Akinwale Adeniran has ordered deployment of operatives from the tactical and intelligence units in addition to other security agencies for maximum security.
This is sequel to an ugly incident in Ado Ekiti where hoodlums suspected to be secret cult members shot innocent citizens.
While debunking the rumour of curfew, the command warns against acts that could heighten tension, urging citizens to be calm, security conscious, law abiding by assisting police with credible and timely information.
