The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has inaugurated the newly constituted Caretaker committee of the party in Ekiti state.
Correspondent Timothy Yusuf reports that the Party says various interests were addressed in the composition of the committee.
It is a 14 member Caretaker committee of the Ekiti state chapter of the peoples democratic party. Their selection is part of efforts to bring an end to all of the factions of the PDP in the state.
They have three big tasks, working for the victory of all candidates for the February 25 and March 11 2023 general elections, setting machinery in place for a state Congress that will bring on board elected officials to run the affairs of the party and foster unity amongs all members in the state.
Ekiti state will participate in all elective offices in the coming elections except for the Governorship election which was conducted last year.
The Caretaker committee has three months to execute its mandate.
