Nasarawa state records first death from COVID-19
Nasarawa State has recorded the first death from the Coronavirus pandemic. The victim is a State House of Assembly Member representing Nasarawa Central, Suleiman Adamu.

Following the development, the State Assembly Complex shall remain closed while members have been directed to self isolate until conclusion of proper examination by medical personnel.
Similarly, Government announces total lockdown of five Local Government Areas including Lafia ,the State Capital to ensure containment of the virus spread.
