Governor of the central bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele has called on foreign investors to explore more areas within the country’s agriculture sector to tap into the abundant available opportunities there.Emefiele was speaking at a dinner hosted by Forbes magazine in recognition of the apex bank’s achievements in various aspects of the economy under his leadership.

State House Medical Centre On Capital Allocation

The presidency has reacted to recent media reports suggesting that the state house medical Centre has received 11.01 billion as an appropriation for the period 2015 -2017. a statement by the permanent secretary, state house, Jalal Arabi, indicates that out of the total capital appropriation of about 3 billion naira and recurrent appropriation of about 5 million naira the period under reference, only about 1 billion naira representing 32 percent of capital and  about 225 million naira representing 48 percent for recurrent was actually released.
