In Yobe, Gaidam Condoles With Maidala Family

H.E Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam today paid his condolences to the Maidala family over the death of Alhaji Babeh Maidala, pioneer Director of Press Affairs in the state, who died today at 61 years old in Damaturu.

The governor was received by the deceased’s older brother, Alhaji Baba Ali Maidala, executive chairman of the Teaching Service Board (TSB).

Accompanied by his deputy, Engr. Abubakar D. Ali, State Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Adamu Dala Dogo and other senior administration officials, the governor prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the late Babeh Maidala and grant him al-Jannatul Firdausi.

Prayers were also offered by the Governor’s Liaison Officer on Religious Affairs, Ustaz Babagana Mallam Kyari for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

The late Babeh Maidala retired from the services of the Yobe State Government as director of news and current affairs with the State Radio Service, YBC
