NITDA IS Open To Partnership In Line With Its Mandate – Pantami

The Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami (FBCS) said that the Agency welcomes partnership and collaboration with the outside world that will aid NITDA to achieve its seven (7) key priority areas identified as IT Regulation, Cyber Security, Capacity Building, Digital Inclusion, Digital Job Creation, Government Digital Service Promotion, Local Content Development and Promotion. 

The DG made this assertion when a delegation from Digital Africa Global limited led by its Chairman Dr. Evans Woherem paid a courtesy call to the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
The DG informed that he welcomes initiatives which are in line with the Agency’s Mandate of transforming Nigeria into a knowledge based and IT driven economy.
Speaking Earlier, Dr Woherem appreciated the Agency for the cooperation enjoyed over the years of which NITDA led the Nigerian delegation to this year’s Computer Electronic Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, United States of America.
Woherem wooed NITDA to participate in the upcoming Digital Africa Conference, an international platform for showcasing the latest ICT innovations in Nigeria, Africa and around the world, with the theme: “The Fourth Industrial Revolution, Getting Africa Ready.”
