Baptist Youths for Christ like Qualities
President of National Men’s Missionary Union Dr Dawari George has admonished Nigerian youths have been enjoined to mould their life pattern based on the exemplary teachings and qualities of Jesus Christ for a meaningful life.

Bomb Blast
Three suicide bomb attacks occurred at three different locations in Muna Usmanti, Muna Garage and Muna Ethopia in Borno State.
According to the information officer of the National Emergency Management Agency North East Abdulkadir Ibrahim, five people were killed while eleven others were injured in the incident which occurred about four o’clock in the evening. Among the dead were five suicide bombers and a member of the civilian JTF.
The injured persons were taken to the general hospital for proper attention while the corpses were deposited at the mortuary by officials of the national emergency management agency and the state emergency management agency.


Buhari Congratulates Momoh

CBN Governor at NASS
The Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele says with over 31 billion us dollars in its foreign reserve, Nigeria has enough fire power to defend the naira, as currency.
The CBN governor stated this while answering question from senate correspondent after a closed door meeting with leadership of the senate.  
The Central Bank Governor was at the assembly to brief leadership of the senate on CBN’s intervention on the foreign exchange market.


CJN Tasks Magistrates on Image
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen has urged magistrates to be conscious of their role in the nation’s judicial system which has the likelihood of affecting the image of the third arm of government.
He stated this in a message to the annual refreshers course for magistrates in Nigeria which took place at the national judicial institute in Abuja

FCT Minister Inaugurates Task Force
The FCT administration has inaugurated a special task force for traffic decongestion of the Abuja-Karu-Yanya-Jikoyi axis of the FCT.
FCT Minister Muhammad Musa Bello gives the task force a six month period for the task.

House on President’s Loan Request
The House of Representatives has received an executive communication from president muhammadu buhari requesting the approval of six point nine billion us dollars for the 2016/2018 borrowing plan.
The president in the request explained that the loan will enable government embark on the reconstruction of the north-east, assist the poor and commence the Lagos-Ibadan, Kano-Kaduna and Lagos-Calabar Railway Projects.


Minister of Transportation on Dredging of Waterways
Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has maintained that the dredging of the Ajaokuta – Onitsha Waterways would be carried out by local constructors so as to reduce cost.
The minister made this known when he received members of the APC delegation from Rivers State.


President Buhari not Harassing Jonathan’s Family
The presidency has reacted to a headline story in a national newspaper entitled: Buhari’s Govt Harassing my Family, says Jonathan.
A statement from the special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina quoted the paper saying former President Goodluck Jonathan made the allegation in a new book, “Against The Run Of Play”, written by the Chairman of Thisday editorial board, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi.
The former president also reportedly disagreed with the style being used by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in fighting corruption.
