Young Generation Are Future Leaders of The Country- Dr. Pantami
With the enthusiasm to boost output of National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Members posted to serve for a period of one year at National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), The Director General, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami for the first time since inception of the Agency, officially welcomed Corp members to the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, assured them of his openness and willingness to work with them towards the growth and development of Information Technology (IT) in the country.
“Youths are very important to the development of any nation, they are the future leaders and fall within the special preferences easily channeled towards positive output he said.
The DG announced that there will be review of Corp members allowance in the agency to enable them take care of their various personal issues which will motivate them in delivery of their services to the Agency.
Pantami advised Corp members to be conversant with office environment and be committed to their duties to make impact their various Departments or Units of deployment, utilise the service year positively so that when you are out of here, you will be proud to take future challenges. Posting from one Department or Unit to another for a certain period of time will be in place to aid acquire diverse IT knowledge.
While wishing the Corp members a pleasant and colorful stay in NITDA, the DG stated that, “success in life depends on three aspects which are; credibility and integrity; expertise and professionalism; and commitment to duty (perfection or near perfection) will aid you towards achieving your goals and objectives in future.
On his part, Mr Eniola A. Ayo, Ag. Head of Human Resource and Administration Department at NITDA encouraged Corp members to be innovative and present any gotten talent or skills that will provide solutions and move the agency in delivering better services to the public and the country.
Mr Aliyu Bala, on behalf of all other Corp members expressed appreciation to the DG and entire management and staff of NITDA and promised that they will contribute their quota to see that the agency achieve its goals and mandates as an Information Technology (IT) regulatory body of Nigeria.
NITDA
