Convocations: University of Nigeria, to Graduate 12,448 Students

(VON) The University of Nigeria will at its 46th convocation, release a total of 12,448 graduates.

10,425 of them will be conferred with 1st Degrees, Diploma and Certificates.

Briefing journalists at the Enugu campus of the school, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Benjamine Chukwuma Ozumba, said 94 students bagged 1st Class Honours, 3,098 bagged 2nd Class Upper Division while 5,145 bagged 2nd Class Lower Division, 1,653 bagged 3rd Class Honours while 121 students had Pass.

Also a total of 2,023 graduands will receive Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters Degree and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees.

In keeping with tradition, the University will confer Honorary Doctorate Degrees on Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Engineers Emeka Okwuosa and John Obinna Chukwu.

The convocation is expected to commence from Tuesday 24th to Friday 27th January
