Late NSCDC’s Wife Attached To Governor Al-Makura Offered Automatic Employment

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa state has offered automatic employment to Mrs Victoria Otene, wife of a civil defence officer attached to government house Lafia, late Otene Ogbagu, who died after a protracted illness.

A statement signed by Ahmed Tukur, Special Assistant on media and publicity said Al-makura, made the offer when he paid a condolence visit to the family compound of the late officer in Bukan Sidi area of Lafia, the state capital

Al-makura said that the employment is to assist Mrs Otene in the up keep of her five children and other needs of the entire family.

He said that late Ogbagu was an intelligent officer who served his country diligently with commitment and dedication.

He said that the death of late Ogbagu has really touched him and his administration especially at a time when his services is seriously needed.

He explained that the deceased was among the best officer who has shown professionalism and commitment in the discharge of his duty.

He prayed to God to comfort the family and urged them to not lost hoper as God in his infinite mercy will give them solace and ensure their upkeep.
