2017 Nasarawa State Governor New Year Message
Ahmed Tuku, Lafia: Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-makura wishes to felicitate with the people of Nasarawa state and other Nigerians as the country moves into the year 2017 and said that the year 2017 will offer better and greater opportunities.
Al-makura said that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has set up machinery that will ensure enduring legacies that will fix the country in a positive direction.
Governor Al-makura said that the year 2017 will be a blissful year to all Nigerians as the change mantra of President Muhammadu Buhari will manifest more in the year and call on Nigerians to support the administration.
Al-makura said that the year will offer greater and better opportunities to the people in various sectors of the economy and call for more understanding.
He added that the APC change mantra has taken root in every sector of the economy and will refine our value system that will bring about the desired development for the people of the country.
He urged the people to take advantage of the policies of the APC administration and assures them that the feet achieved by the military in capturing Sambisa forest is a continues to exercise and part of the campaign promise of PMB.
Governor Al-makura reaffirms the assurance of his administration to uphold transparency, accountability, as well as sustained peace and security as demanded by the change mantra.
The Governor wishes Nasarawa people a prosperous New Year.
