Nasarawa State Civil Servants Receives 100% Salary For December
Joshua Kigbu, Akwanga: Civil servants in Nasarawa state have acknowledged received of full salaries in December. They said this while speaking to NTA News in Akwanga, Nasarawa state.
Payments of salaries in percentage by the Nasarawa state government to it’s civil servants have linger for some months until December when they received full salaries.
Speaking in an interviewed Irimiya Tanko, Monday Arima and Peter Mari said they have received half payments of July, September, October and November salaries while that of August is pending.
They called on the state government to offset the outstanding arrears as well as sustain the payments of full salaries in the coming year.
A top government official who refuse to be named said the recent reports of the tripartite committee involving the state government, organised labour and the federal ministry of labour and productivity as well as the received of the sum of Eight point four billion naira as refund from the over deduction from the Paris club loan by the state governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura prompted the payment of full salaries in December.
