As peace gradually returns to the North East, the victims support fund has initiated a programme aimed at empowering female internally displaced persons in Borno state

to be self reliant.

This report say that a total of three thousand women have so far benefitted from the programme.

Rotimi Akeredolu of APC has been returned elected as winner of Ondo state governorship election. Akeredolu polled a total of two hundred and forty four thousand, eight hundred and forty two votes, defeating PDP’s Eyitayo Jegede, Olusola Oke of the AD and the candidates of the other twenty five political parties

Saraki, Dogara Congratulates Akeredolu

In the same vein, Senate President, Bukola Saraki has congratulated the Governor-elect of Ondo state, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, over his victory in the Saturday governorship election in the state.

Saraki in a statement by his Special Adviser

Media and Publicity, said Akeredolu’s victory did not come to him as surprise going by his excellent credentials and years

of preparedness for the business of governance.

He urged the Governor-elect to be magnanimous in victory by ensuring that he works with all relevant stakeholders in the arduous task of moving the sunshine state to the next level.

As he puts it, Ondo could not have made a better choice than Akeredolu. Welcome on board he stated.
